Who it’s for

Adults ready to work, from any starting point.

AIC WORKS™ serves adults with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities, along with others facing barriers to employment. No previous job experience is required.

How we teach

Patience is part of the method.

Mistakes are treated as learning opportunities, never failures. Participants receive steady instruction and encouragement until each skill feels like their own.

Graduation day

Every certificate here was earned on the sales floor.

Each class closes with a ceremony and a Certificate of Completion, a credential graduates carry into résumés, applications and interviews.

  • An AIC WORKS graduate holds up her framed Certificate of Completion beside a smiling AIC staff member
  • An AIC WORKS graduate holds his certificate, flanked by two members of the AIC team
  • A smiling AIC WORKS graduate shows his certificate while standing with an AIC staff member
  • A graduating AIC WORKS class gathered with AIC staff, one graduate holding a framed Certificate of Completion

Fund a scholarship

$1,500 carries one adult through all ten weeks.

Scholarships cover training, materials and time on the sales floor, so cost is never the reason someone stays on the sidelines.
