aicharity.org uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. We do not use advertising or social-media tracking cookies, and we never use visitor data for advertising.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Some are essential for a site to work, some measure how a site is used, and others follow people across the web for advertising. We use the first two kinds, never the third.
What this Site uses
- Strictly necessary technologies. Our host, Webflow, may use technical cookies or similar storage needed to deliver pages securely and to protect our forms from spam. They are not used to track you or build a profile.
- Web fonts. Our typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. This request shares your IP address with Google but does not place cookies in your browser.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read and which links are clicked, such as Donate or Volunteer. It sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) that last up to two years and recognize your browser, not you by name. Google Analytics does not store IP addresses, and we have turned off Google’s optional data-sharing settings.
We do not use Meta Pixel, advertising cookies or any tool that tracks you across other websites.
Third-party sites
When you choose to give through Givebutter or PayPal, follow us on Facebook or TikTok, open directions in Google Maps or Apple Maps, or start an online application, you leave our Site. Those services may set their own cookies under their own policies.
Managing cookies
You can view, block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how some features, such as forms, behave. To stop Google Analytics from measuring your visits on any website, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Changes to this policy
If we add any other analytics or non-essential tools, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
